Philip Bell, a highly experienced chartered building surveyor, has re-joined the building consultancy arm of DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of chartered surveyors. He will be based in Edinburgh. Philip, a graduate of Heriot Watt University, and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has over 30 years of extensive professional experience in commercial building surveying and project management, and before that contracting experience gained with major national contractors. Philip will be advising our clients on all technical aspects of commercial property, legal occupational liabilities and the monitoring of funded developments. He will also be involved in dilapidations advice and negotiations, acting for both landlords and tenants, as well as preparation of pre-acquisition surveys and due diligence, Schedules of Condition and reinstatement cost assessments. Philip’s experience with major contractors and later crossing over to private practice building surveying, means that he is able to offer a broad scope of technical and managerial experience to clients that is rarely available from other practitioners. He joins a building surveying team which is steadily growing its reputation as the first choice of clients throughout Scotland and beyond.
