After graduating from Heriot-Watt University in 1989 with an Honours Degree in Estate Management, Ewen joined a Dundee firm of surveyors. Less than a year later he relocated to an expanding St Andrews office where he completed his professional training in 1992, culminating in promotion to Partner in 2007. Since joining DM Hall in 2019, Ewen has been providing residential valuation services ( including home reports) for St Andrews, Cupar & the majority of the East Neuk. Ewen now manages the newly opened DM Hall St Andrews office and as a longstanding resident of the town he is well placed to provide residential valuation advice and home reports for the immediate locale and beyond.
Married with two children, Ewen was chairman of the St Andrews Merchants Association from 2003 to 2007. He is also a past president of the St Andrews Business Club. While in the past Ewen has also been heavily involved with children’s rugby and swimming clubs undertaking various roles including as a president for each, he is now enjoying sport himself and is currently president of East Fife Triathlon Club
