Alastair Murray is Finance Director at DM Hall, bringing over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant across banking, SMEs and listed companies.

A graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Alastair qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Bank of Scotland, where he spent seven years in Structured Finance before moving into corporate strategy and portfolio management.

He subsequently held Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer roles with Inspiring Scotland, the Edinburgh International Festival and George Heriot’s School, before joining the listed sector as CFO of Target Fund Managers and Target Healthcare REIT.

Alastair has also contributed extensively to the charity and housing sectors through a range of voluntary and board roles.

At DM Hall, he leads the Finance team and oversees the firm’s financial infrastructure, supporting its continued growth and development.
