Davidson Cash & Carry Limited, a long-established, profitable family-operated, wholesales business located at Brownsburn Industrial Estate in Airdrie, Lanarkshire has been put for sale due to the impending retirement of the owners.
Davidson Cash & Carry, part of the Today’s buying group, was established in 1965 and specialises in wholesaling tobacco, alcohol, confectionery and soft drinks. The owners have operated from the current premises for over 20 years.
Suzanne Lawrie of commercial property agent DM Hall, which is handling the sale, said: “Around 60% of turnover arises from shop sales with the balance coming from customer deliveries. The business is also a one-stop shop for the area’s food and ice cream vans with a range of frozen food, gas, slush mix, and ice cream.
“Our client is seeking offers around £375,000 for the property, goodwill, fixtures and fittings, with stock available over and above at valuation. Financial documentation will be provided to interested parties after viewing and confirmation of interest.
“Viewing is strictly by appointment and can be arranged by contacting me at business.sales@dmhall.co.uk.”
