Borders residential property and land expert Richard Clowes has continued his rapid career advancement by being appointed a director at the Galashiels office of property specialists DM Hall Chartered Surveyors.
Richard joined the firm as senior surveyor at the start of November 2009 and was made an associate shortly afterwards in 2010. His promotion to Director, at the start of this month (July) will bring additional responsibilities to drive the Galashiels office forward.
With an already established strong reputation in the region, Richard aims to continue to enhance DM Hall’s profile in the increasingly busy Borders market and maintain the firm’s proactive approach to creating value for clients.
He said: “Directorship carries considerable responsibilities, but the post also creates great opportunities to further improve the service we bring to our clients while maintaining the highest possible professional standards. I am delighted to have been given the chance to take Galashiels forward.
“It is a time of great activity in the area, with a lot of optimism about the market and a lot of good things happening. The RICS Housing Market survey, to which I contribute, has been particularly positive in its last few months. The market is certainly improving from when I first joined DM Hall in 2009, and positive impact of the Home Report has contributed to this.”
