New Building Surveyor Strengthens Aberdeen Commercial Team

Leading chartered surveyors DM Hall have announced the appointment of Barry McGhee to the position of associate director to head up the building surveying team based in Aberdeen.
A graduate of Edinburgh’s Napier University, Barry McGhee qualified as Chartered Building Surveyor in 2006 and brings to the role more than 16 years of experience in the Scottish construction industry. He has been involved in a range of projects in the commercial and private sectors.
In his new role Barry will be involved in the provision of a wide spectrum of building surveying services throughout the North of Scotland to include schedules of condition and dilapidations, contract administration for fit-out works and extensions, space planning, planned preventative maintenance schedules, development monitoring, defect diagnosis and building advice.
Commenting on his new role, Barry said: “I am delighted to join DM Hall and look forward to the challenges of my new role forming part of the commercial team in Aberdeen.”
