Gavin Smith joins DM Hall as Associate

Gavin Smith has joined DM Hall, one of Scotland?۪s largest independent firms of Chartered Surveyors, as an Associate. He will boost the strength of the firm?۪s Glasgow residential surveying team to 9.
Gavin, who qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013 having previously worked with another Glasgow firm of chartered surveyors, gained most of his professional experience with the long-established firm of Murray and Muir prior to its merger with his former employer in spring 2015.
He is no stranger to DM Hall, having undertaken a work experience placement with DM Hall in the firm?۪s Inverness office whilst a pupil at The High School of Glasgow.
A certified Domestic Energy Assessor who produces residential Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for clients, his new role will focus principally on residential surveys including Home Reports and Mortgage Valuations.
Gavin has experience of the residential property market in and around Glasgow and is also on the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Matrics Committee for Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

A keen golfer, Gavin is a member of both the Bothwell Castle Golf Club and The Nairn Golf Club and also has an involvement in car rallying as a member of The Coltness Car Club.
