DM Hall LLP has launched a new brand identity which celebrates a marked evolution of its highly-visible and long-standing image.
The firm, which was established in Edinburgh in 1897 and is poised to celebrate its 120th anniversary next year, is represented in 25 offices across Scotland.
With its ubiquitous Home Reports on the condition and value of Scotland’s residential properties and its high street property boards advertising commercial properties to sell or let, the DM Hall brand identity is a familiar sight in all parts of the country. Over the next few months, however, starting this month, the highly-familiar DM Hall brand identity will be seen to become more contemporary.
Eric Curran, managing partner at DM Hall, said: “While we have a long and distinguished history, we are proud of how we have adapted through the years to ensure we continually meet the growing needs of our clients.
“As we approach our 120th anniversary in 2017, we have the perfect opportunity to ensure that our visual identity reflects who we are now. The new brand, we believe, evokes our self-image as modern, professional, leaders in our field, providing the full complement of property services from residential and commercial to building surveying and rural services, and everything in between.
“Our re-branding gives us a more modern and progressive visual identity that we can build on by developing a yet-stronger public property voice.”
DM Hall marketing manager Neil McKenzie said: “The new brand design is bold and continues to deliver messages of strength, reliability and trust but in a more appealing and interactive way. The website and the accompanying artwork will reinforce all of these messages and represents a development with which everyone associated with DM Hall is excited.”
The new brand identity has been developed by Glasgow-based design agency, Levy McCallum. Its MD, John McCallum, said: “This is not simply a new logo – it is much more than that. A re-vitalised website which is fit for purpose and refreshed visual identity that mirrors DM Hall’s approach.
“Moving away from the traditional yellow boards to a fresh new look, the re-branded identity will see a top to bottom rejuvenation – from website, brochures and stationery to the For Sale boards encountered in every part of Scotland.”
