Two of Scotland’s landmark hotels, the Links Hotel in Edinburgh and the Greyfriars Hotel in St Andrews have been put on the market by their owners, Kingdom Hotels, for a total of £5.95m for both.
Both have seen recent extensive refurbishment and are being put on the market as a result of a strategic decision by the present owners to withdraw from the managed hotel operations and concentrate instead on their large licensed tenancy portfolio.
The 22 en-suite bedrooms Links Hotel, which is nestled by the Meadows park south-west of Edinburgh city centre in the affluent area of Bruntsfield, is within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle and the city centre. A massive refurbishment programme of the hotel was completed in early 2011.
