New appointments reflect firm’s ambition for further expansion

Chartered Surveyors and property consultancy DM Hall has reinforced its long‑term commitment to North West England with the opening of a new office in Kendal, marking a significant investment in the town and a clear statement of its long‑term commitment to the region.

This strategic move builds upon the firm’s acquisition three years ago of the long-established Cumbrian practice of Hyde Harrington and new professional appointments including George Dudfield, a Chartered General Practice Surveyor services and Richard Barnett, an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor.

The firm has relocated to 36 Finkle Street, a prominent and attractive listed building in the heart of Kendal, following 9 years at its previous address. The move sees DM Hall more than double its office space to approximately 2,100 sq. ft, providing the capacity and environment needed to support future growth.

The property, a traditional Lakeland building with an attractive façade and large front windows, is arranged over three floors. Formerly occupied by an estate agency, the building has been fully refurbished internally and externally to create a modern professional workspace.

The new office features a welcoming client area and reception space at ground floor level, with open plan “engine room” working areas and meeting rooms on the first and second floors designed to support focused professional activity and collaboration.

DM Hall’s Kendal office is now home to 10 staff, supported by further colleagues in Carlisle and across the wider business.
