The Aberfoyle Butcher, centrally located on the Main Street of the popular village of Aberfoyle, is being marketed as a going concern by the commercial department of DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of Chartered Surveyors.
The butcher has been established for 26 years, and was one of the first to offer real wild boar. The business is part of the Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) scheme, and both the beef and lamb supplied have Protected Geographical Indicator (PGI) status and Specially Selected Pork. It is being offered for sale due to the owner retiring from the trade.
Suzanne Lawrie of DM Hall said: “This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a business with a superb reputation based almost entirely on word of mouth. The butcher has supplied some of the best eateries in Scotland with top quality meat.
“The business has achieved longevity in a competitive market with almost no marketing, and this is an undeveloped opportunity for growth. It represents a rarely-available business prospect with clear potential for expansion above the current turnover of £400 – 450,000.”
For further information about the property please contact Suzanne Lawrie at DM Hall on 0131 477 6000.
