A buoyant commercial property market in Falkirk has been boosted further with two new commercial transactions in the Stirlingshire town.
Following a string of successful back-to back deals in the first quarter of the year, DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading firms of Chartered Surveyors, has let 33 High Street to Airdrie Savings Bank on a ten year term. This is the Bank’s first property letting outside its core territory of Airdrie, Lanarkshire.
Mike McIntyre, of the Falkirk office of DM Hall said: “I am delighted that Airdrie Savings Bank has opted to expand into Falkirk and I am sure that 33 High Street will prove to be an excellent location for them”. The letting was assisted by Calum Mortimer at Cuverwell & Co.
In a second transaction, a town house property formerly occupied by law firm Gair & Gibson at Hope Street, has been sold for £249,999.
Mr. McIntyre said: “In my opinion this represents a good sale bearing in mind current market conditions and shows that underlying values remain stable for good quality properties in Falkirk.”
He added: “These transactions concluded a very busy first half of the year for DM Hall and we look forward to remaining equally active in the second half of 2011.”
