Hayley Anderson, a former Estates Surveyor with Aberdeen City Council, has joined the expanding commercial team in the Aberdeen office of DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of chartered surveyors, as its new Commercial Valuation Surveyor.

An honours graduate in Property and Spatial Planning of the University of Aberdeen, Hayley went on to earn an MSc in Sustainable Rural Development in late 2013 before joining the City Council as a Graduate Estates Surveyor. She qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in spring 2016.

She said: “In my role as an Estates Surveyor I was the primary case officer for two compulsory purchase order cases on behalf of the acquiring authority, having studied Compulsory Purchase to level 3 in my RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which I believe is fairly unusual. I am looking forward to utilising my skills in this sector for DM Hall and, I hope, will be able to be involved on behalf of our clients in the future.”
