Five Retail/Office Units available at Oldmeldrum Development following confirmation of Co-op Foodstore as Anchor Tenant

A new neighbourhood retail development currently under construction on Colpy Road, Oldmeldrum is scheduled to be available for occupancy towards the end of this year.

Coop have been secured as the anchor tenant in a 6,000 sq ft foodstore and are due to open their doors to the public in late November. A further five units, ranging in area from 1800 sq ft to 5300 sq ft remain available.

Four 1800 sq ft ground floor units are available with a further 5,300 sq ft unit, at first floor level which can be used either for retail or office use.

Meldrum Academy, the local secondary school which is attended by around 1,000 students aged between 12 and 18, is directly opposite.

The development will benefit from 96 free parking spaces, including disabled and parent and child spaces. Service access is provided at the rear of the units

Kevin Jackson, a senior associate in the Aberdeen office of DM Hall who are marketing the units, said: “Oldmeldrum has until now had limited retail offer given the size of the town. These units offer a range of businesses, from retailers through to estate agents, professional services firms and hospitality operators the opportunity to trade from a prominent site within the town.”
