DM Hall’s Commercial team in Aberdeen has concluded terms to lease 4,700 sq ft at the Galleria Shopping Centre on behalf of the team behind Rustico, Tony Renda and Nikos Spathis. The successful duo will launch a new Italian themed eatery named Aperitivo in the unit previously occupied by Pancho Villas.
Tom Sutherland, owner of the Galleria Shopping Centre on Bon Accord Street remarked “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Aperitivo to the centre to further strengthen our tenant line up. The proposed concept sounds very exciting and is sure to be well received.”
“The new restaurant will have a distinctly Italian theme but will be very different from what our customers enjoy at Rustico” explained Tony Renda. “Our aim with Aperitivo is to provide a very relaxed, informal experience where our customers can enjoy a light lunch, dinner, coffee, drinks or maybe a fresh sandwich to takeaway.”
Stuart Johnston, Partner in charge of the Aberdeen Commercial department at DM Hall said, “Our acquisition of this unit on behalf of Tony and Nikos will have an undoubted positive impact upon the Galleria Centre and at the same time bring an exciting new dining experience not seen before in Aberdeen. The reputation my clients have established at Rustico is second to none and I have no doubt that they will quickly replicate this success at Aperitivo.”
