Exhibitions/Seminars
Following successful roadshows in Perth, Irvine, Edinburgh and Fife we are pleased to announce that we are planning further seminars across Scotland later in the summer. As you are no doubt aware, the above legislation came in to force on the 1st of May 2005. With it came major changes to the way local authorities deal with unauthorised alterations and, as a result, the effect these procedures have on everyday conveyancing. To register your interest in these seminars, please email marketing@dmhall.co.uk.
The Law Society of Scotland held their Conveyancing Conference on Thursday 17th May entitled 'The changing face of conveyancing'. As one of the main sponsors, DM Hall were there to meet with the lawyers and discuss the challenges affecting us all and the current market trends. Over 100 solicitors attended the day of talks, workshops and demonstrations.
