RICS Homebuyer Survey and Valuation (Scheme 2)

There will be a Home Report on the property you want to purchase, however you may wish to instruct your own surveyor for independent advice. As such we still offer traditional surveying services.

The report involves a more thorough inspection and focuses on the defects and other problems which the surveyor considers to be urgent or significant and which would have an effect on the value of the property.

This report will highlight the main problems found or suspected or suspected and may recommend further specialist investigations. The main objectives of the service are to assist the client to:

• Make an informed judgement on whether or not to proceed with the purchase
• Decide at what price it would be reasonable to purchase the property
• Assess urgent and significant matters before making an offer However, the report will not list minor defects.
